My journey into the world of filmmaking and multimedia production began at a very young age, thanks to the unwavering support of my father who happens to be the first person to place a camera in my hands. I went from capturing moments in my basement on Joy Road with friends to becoming the first kid in third grade at my school to shoot a full-fledged commercial instead of submitting the typical science project the teachers saw year after year.

My passion for visual storytelling continued to evolve, and I seized the opportunity to learn the intricacies of operating a full-scale television studio at Youthville Detroit under the mentorship of amazing educators like Ken Elkins, Marques Hearing, and the late Ron Savage of Fox 2 News Detroit. This hands-on experience ignited my fascination with the power of multimedia to convey stories, and it served as the foundation for my future endeavors.

I furthered my education by pursuing a degree in journalism, honing my skills and knowledge to better understand the art of storytelling through various media forms. As my journey unfolds, I can wholeheartedly say that I’ve been IN THE FIELD WITH IT. The ups and downs enabled me to recognize the need for a bridge between creative professionals and contractors in the multimedia production industry in Detroit. This realization inspired me to establish my consulting firm, On the Verge Productions, connecting talented creatives with the right experts to bring their visions to life.
